George helped found The Boston Family Office and now is its Managing Partner as well as a portfolio manager.

Previously George was a Vice President at the Cambridge Trust Company, handling various duties ranging from commercial loans to branch management. Prior to that he was with the Bank of New England, working in a variety of areas from retail banking, operations, credit training to commercial finance.

George earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in 1975. In addition, he is a graduate of the National Trust School.

George is a Trustee of Northeast Investors Trust, an income oriented mutual fund. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of Breckinridge Capital Advisors, a manager of fixed income portfolios.

As a volunteer, George is the treasurer of Homeowners Rehab, inc., a developer and provider of affordable housing, primarily in Cambridge. He is on the investment committee of the Cambridge Community Foundation and is a member of the Council for the Arts at MIT.

He lives in Cambridge with his wife Barbara.
