Benjamin T. Richardson, CFA is a partner and portfolio manager for The Boston Family Office. He joined the firm in 2004 and became a partner in 2008.

Ben graduated with an AB in Economics from Harvard College in 1997.

For seven years after college, Ben trained as a full-time Olympic hopeful in sailing. Although he never ultimately competed in the Olympics, along the way he finished in the top-5 in national and world championships, the Olympic Trials, and the Pan-American Games, in the Laser, Soling and Etchells classes.

Ben is a graduate and Trustee of the Waring School and serves on its Finance and Investment Committee. He has been the Treasurer of the North American Laser Class since 2004, and serves on both the Board of Governors of the Eastern Point Yacht Club and the United States Olympic Sailing Committee.

Despite the long commute, Ben prefers to live in his hometown of Gloucester with his wife Courtney.
