William H. ("Tim") Claflin, IV joined The Boston Family Office in 2007 as a partner and portfolio manager.

Tim has spent his entire career in the investment advisory business, most recently as a Vice President and Financial Adviser at Morgan Stanley. Previously, he held similar positions at A. G. Edwards and Tucker Anthony.

Tim graduated from Harvard College in 1965 and spent three years as a Naval officer, including a one year tour in Vietnam.

Tim is a Trustee of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and sits on the Investment Committee.

Tim has three children and lives with his wife in Brookline. He is an avid golfer, fly fisherman and curler.
